The Allegheny West community has two active business associations, which combined have over 200 members:
- The North 22nd Street Merchants Association is dedicated to forging relationships with fellow merchants to coordinate efforts to keep the business strip a viable entity.
- The Hunting Park West-Germantown Business Association seeks to create a healthy business environment that supports the needs and interests of existing members, promotes business retention and attracts new businesses to the area.
