AWF plans to construct a new Allegheny West Business Campus on several vacant parcels in our community to further anchor our transit-oriented development. Our goal is to attract new businesses to the area, and therefore jobs and income for community residents.

The area where the campus will be located is defined roughly by 21st Street to the west, Allegheny Avenue to the north, 16th Street to the east and Cambria Street to the south. This area has become a special concern for the community and AWF because of the significant number of vacant and run-down properties located there.

Currently, there are seven businesses utilizing space in this area, leaving 28 acres within the district predominantly vacant or significantly underutilized.
